A new logo for the Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar
Founded in 1981, the annual Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar, is a firmly established fixture on the Southern Californian musical calendar. For the 2019 season, its directors decided to update the brand identity, at the same time maintaining continuity and respecting the festival's long and successful history.
For the new logo I created a stylised shell and scroll motif and combined it with a beautiful typeface from Laura Worthington. The new logo was unveiled at a preview event on October 16th 2018.
The festival is taking a phased approach to the brand refresh, starting with the logo but preserving its sepia colour scheme and text layout. Further developments will include an updated website, colour scheme and typography.
